- An appropriate NVR and the HDD capacity shown above.
- Up to 20 metres of CAT6 cabling per camera.

Confirm the camera brand, model, indoor or outdoor suitability, recorder specification and any additional network equipment in the quotation. Remote viewing requires a compatible system and a working internet connection.
How to Compare CCTV Quotes Fairly
Two quotations for four cameras can cover very different systems. Compare these details before deciding:
- Camera specification: brand, model, resolution, lens, night-time performance and indoor or outdoor rating.
- Recorder and storage: DVR or NVR, channel capacity, included HDD and required recording duration.
- Cabling allowance: included length per camera, cable type, route and charges for additional materials.
- Installation work: mounting height, access, trunking, concealed wiring and any finishing work.
- Handover and support: mobile access, user permissions, testing, warranty terms and maintenance options.
- Total payable: package price, approved extras and applicable VAT.
A smaller property does not automatically qualify for the cheapest package. Coverage, cable routes and recording needs determine the appropriate system.
Recording for 7, 14 or 30+ Days
Included HDD capacity does not guarantee a fixed number of recording days. Retention depends on camera count, bitrate, frame rate, compression and whether recording is continuous or event-based.

Allow for storage upgrades

What does the AED 899 package cover?
It covers a standard two-camera 2MP analog system with an appropriate DVR, 500GB HDD, up to 20 metres of standard cabling per camera, installation, configuration and mobile viewing setup. The price excludes 5% VAT and additional site work.
How much is a standard eight-camera package?
The eight-camera 2MP analog package is AED 2,499 excluding 5% VAT. An eight-camera 2MP IP/PoE package is AED 3,999 excluding 5% VAT. Both include 1TB storage and the standard installation scope described above.
Is IP CCTV always clearer than analog?
Image quality depends on the actual camera specification, lens, lighting and recording settings. Compare the proposed models and resolution rather than assuming every IP camera delivers a better image than every analog camera.
Can you quote from photos or a floor plan?
Photos, a floor plan and your location can help us prepare an initial estimate. A site survey may be needed to confirm cable routes, access and the final installation scope.
Is maintenance included in the installation price?
An ongoing maintenance contract should be quoted separately unless expressly included in your written offer. Ask about warranty terms and available CCTV maintenance and AMC services.
